Responsibilities:

  • Be accountable for the team’s success.
  • Provide coaching and oversight of each team member to ensure productivity and quality.
  • Act as a mentor to less experienced team members.
  • Facilitate the execution of strategic and tactical initiatives throughout the year.
  • Provide innovative ideas for ongoing improvement to the service model.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years service delivery or customer service management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e. Microsoft Office suite).
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
  • Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette.
  • Extensive experience in the SaaS implementation space.

Responsibilities:

As an SAS/SQL Data Analyst (Level III) at PlanGap, you will be responsible for performing more complex analysis and modeling for multiple products with the goal of maximizing profits and asset growth and minimizing risk and operating losses and/or other financial and marketing exposures. Develop complex program models to extract data and use multiple databases to acquire statistical and financial data. Utilize portfolio trends to propose policy/procedural changes within segmentation structure to produce optimal results. Excel at risk/reward trade off. Build relationships with external agencies. Participate in the rollout of company-wide pilot programs developed as a result of programmed models. Duties primarily include the regular use of discretion, independent judgment, the ability to communicate with multiple levels of management and the utilization of core leadership behaviors. SAS and/or MicroStrategy experience preferred.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field; such as mathematics engineering, statistics, data science, or computer science.
  • 3-5 Years Intermediate or Advanced SAS, SQL and Python experience.
  • To pursue a career as a SAS/SQL analyst with PlanGap, you’ll need to possess excellent numerical and analytical skills, and you must be a good communicator. A big part of your job is interpreting raw data to make predictions, and you must be able to communicate your observations and insights to people who are not experts in statistics or data science. You will collaborate with programmers and other analysts to analyze and forecast industry and market trends.

Job Summary:

Install and implement security measures to protect claims systems and information infrastructure. Provides timely detection, identification, and alerting of possible attacks/intrusions, or anomalous activities. Creates, monitors, and maintains safeguards to ensure the security of all systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Distinguishes possible attacks from benign activities within the enterprise.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to resolve computer security incidents and vulnerability compliance.
  • Receives and analyzes network alerts and determines possible causes for the alerts.
  • Documents and escalates incidents (including event’s history, status, and potential impact for further action) that may cause ongoing and immediate impact to the environment.
  • Provides daily summary reports of network events and activity relevant to cyber defense practices.
  • Identifies and analyzes anomalies in network traffic using metadata.
  • Identifies network mapping and operating system (OS) fingerprinting activities.
  • Monitors external data sources (e.g., cyber defense vendor sites, Computer Emergency Response Teams, Security Focus) of cyber defense threat condition and determines which security issues may have an impact on the enterprise.
  • Validates intrusion detection system (IDS) alerts against network traffic.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years IT security experience.
  • Experience with an enterprise log management system or SIEM (i.e., Splunk, Elastic, AlienVault, etc.), OSCP, GPEN, LPT or similar preferred.
  • Knowledge of information technology (IT) security principles and methods (e.g., firewalls, demilitarized zones, encryption).
  • Knowledge of key concepts in security management (e.g., Release Management, Patch Management).
  • Knowledge of system administration, network, and operating system hardening techniques, network systems management principles, and tools.

Role:

PlanGap is seeking to hire a strategic position of an Actuarial Associate. The Actuarial Associate position affords an immediate opportunity to apply analytical, problem-solving, communication and technology skills contributing to the development of solutions to challenging client issues. The Associate will have access to and work under the guidance and mentoring of talented senior level staff and will work independently and on teams to research and develop retirement insurance products to serve a broad range of clients. The Associate is encouraged to engage in continual learning and development activities with the goal to advance to higher-level positions and will be supported in pursing progress toward actuarial accreditation.

Responsibilities:

The Actuarial Associate is responsible for the completion of actuarial valuations for innovative and cutting-edge retirement insurance products under the supervision of experienced actuaries. This may include all aspects of retiree health valuations, as well as special retiree health studies and projects. Projects include but may not be limited to valuation activities and special project work addressing a myriad of unique and emerging retirement plan issues posed by client organizations, as well as reconciling plan participant data, analyzing financial statements, creating and updating valuation programs and spreadsheet applications, and preparing reports with the support of experienced actuaries. Key responsibilities include but may not be limited to:

  • Researching and gathering information;
  • Reviewing and analyzing work products including plan data and financial statements;
  • Providing input to the development of solutions;
  • Creating and updating valuation programs and spreadsheet applications;
  • Assisting with report preparation and government filings and,
  • Working with senior actuary and consultant staff to support their effective presentation of work product to internal and external groups.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science or Electronic Engineering; plus 3 years of retirement plan actuarial experience within a consulting and/or insurance company environment (retiree health experience a plus); Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) – must possess excellent time management and communication (oral and written) skills, detail-oriented, strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, as well as the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement claims technology and processes for optimal use by our insurance carrier partners.
  • Assist in the development of technology that will promptly acknowledge claims submissions, and send acknowledgments to policyholders, brokers and carriers.
  • Collaborate across multiple departments to manage the processing of trigger-based and manual claims.
  • Ensure new claims files are appropriately categorized into database.
  • Routinely run simulated claims and spending reports for our insurance carrier partners.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in insurance claims with 5+ years of management experience.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment – yet flexible enough to adapt to changes required for dynamic growth.
  • Excellent process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and design and effectively roll out improvements to the teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to drive alignment through leadership and influence.

Role:

PlanGap is seeking to hire a strategic position of a Policy Research Associate to provide programmatic support services to our insurance carrier and distribution partners in terms of Social Security policy. We are looking for creative, collaborative, experienced and driven individuals to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Develop materials aimed at educating internal and external teams about current and future Social Security-related policy, to include but not limited to fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, talking points and briefing documents.


• Collect information from appropriate Social Security subject matter experts to inform the development of policy materials aimed at educating internal and external teams regarding program impacts based on former and newly introduced congressional bills and policies.


• Update our policy reporting systems and tools to monitor trends and analyze. This includes the review of rules and regulations relevant to programmatic activities and providing guidance in the form of written summaries.


• Track Social Security policy requests/responses from legislative, judicial and executive branches of government, as well as from the Social Security Administration for regular reporting to internal and external stakeholders. Perform policy analysis and interpretation of requests from Congressional staff, other Federal Agencies, and have ability to generate reports and supporting documentation as needed.


• Review proposed and implemented rules and regulations to identify potential outcomes related to the state and strength of the Social Security program. Reporting of these findings must include a summary of the impact of proposed legislation and recommendations for how internal and external teams may address these issues.

• Disseminate critical Social Security-related news and information by generating written reports or presentations to leadership on internal and external teams on a weekly to monthly basis.


• Provide support for calls with internal and external teams performing the associated tasks for the meetings: including developing agendas, sending invitations to participants, identifying conference call numbers, drafting and disseminating meeting minutes, and drafting supporting documents that could include task lists, summary documents, and white papers.


• Research and prepare responses sometimes on a weekly or monthly basis to ad-hoc or recurring inquiries received in writing or telephonically (e.g., Congressional briefing materials).


• Develop talking points for partner meetings, including: key messages and briefing materials that will be used to inform partnership meetings.


• Travel with PlanGap senior management on relevant business trips in order to discuss the state of the Social Security programs and predictions of future of the program.

Requirements:

• BS or master’s degree in public policy, public administration, political science, policy communications or related field.


• Minimum of four (4) years’ experience working in public policy, public administration, communications, partnership development, or related field.
